103 Chain Conveyor Idler End Unit
The 103 chain conveyor idler end unit pairs the 103 chain family with the 105 conveyor series at the non-driven end. Fully enclosed, semi-enclosed and stainless steel versions form the documented range.

Match the idler version to the chain and beam. Drive-unit dimensions or reducer specifications do not define the non-driven end.
Redirect the 103 Chain Without a Drive Connection
The idler end holds the rotating turnaround components where the chain returns to the carrying path. Its side plates and shaft supports locate that turn relative to the 105 beam.
Select the enclosure version before comparing the complete unit. The available fully enclosed, semi-enclosed and stainless steel arrangements need to be matched to the installed chain circuit and surrounding space.

Dimensions & Fit
Show the beam-end section and the installed carrying and return paths. Compare the idler shaft position and fastening points with the existing assembly.
Check entry support above the turn and clearance beneath the beam. Provide photographs from both sides if the enclosure hides the shaft support.
Bring the Chain Back Into the Carrying Run
The returning chain travels around the idler and enters the loaded run. The support level at the beam connection needs to lead it into that path without an offset.
Product entry at this end requires a separate gap and level check. Matching the chain family does not determine how a small product transfers onto the conveyor.

Discuss a 103 Idler End
Send the 103 chain reference, 105 beam section and enclosure version. Include idler photographs, required quantity and any existing assembly drawing.
